| The NCPA Foundation Disaster Relief Fund was established to provide financial assistance to community pharmacy owners for the repair and rebuilding of pharmaciesfor their recovery in the event of disaster, accidents, illness, or adverse circumstances. Assistance is available to NCPA member and nonmember independent pharmacies -- $1,000 per site for NCPA members and $500 per site for nonmembers. Proof of damages is required such as a copy of an insurance claim. Please contact the NCPA Foundation for more information.

The response from donors to assist pharmacies affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005 was overwhelming. Nearly $160,000 was distributed to over 50 pharmacies damaged by these storms.
