Eligibility

NCPA Foundation donors and past donors and NCPA members, including student members and family members and pharmacy affiliates are eligible to make a donation. To be eligible, the donor must be a U.S. resident, 18 years of age or older, and a licensed and insured driver. A donor to the Wheels for Scholars Program agrees to abide by all rules of the program. Determination of the interpretation of all rules and actions will be made by the NCPA Foundation. All NCPA Foundation decisions will be final. NCPA Foundation Trustees and Staff are not eligible.

Your support will enable the NCPA Foundation to increase the number of scholarships it awards to students wanting to own an independent pharmacy and support other aspects of the NCPA Foundation’s mission to advance independent community pharmacy and the public it serves through:

• Critical research and education to improve the success of independent pharmacies and improve patient health outcomes
• Distribution of low-interest educational loans to pharmacy students
• Helping communities by developing community pharmacy-based health care prevention and awareness programs
• Financial assistance to independent pharmacy owners for their recovery in the event of disaster, accidents, illness, or adverse circumstances
• Development of programs and resources to stimulate pharmacy ownership, management, and entrepreneurism in pharmacy

Note: The NCPA Foundation will refund all donor contributions if its campaign receipts do not equal the value of the award by August 1, 2010. Approximate retail value of the award is $29,567 (MSRP).
