Economic Impact and Variation in Costs to Provide Community Pharmacy Services

This research constructs profiles that quantify the economic impact of independent community pharmacies by state and federal congressional district, e.g., cost to dispense indexes, deviating cost of dispensing, number of employees, wages, total number of prescriptions, number of Medicaid prescriptions, social security and Medicare taxes, unemployment insurance, rental costs, employee costs, payroll costs, and payroll taxes.

Patient Care Services in Community Pharmacy: What is the Bottom Line?
