Award Description

The NARD Ownership Award, sponsored by Cascadia Pharmacy Group in 2026 and supported by the NCPA Foundation, recognizes an independent pharmacist who embraces entrepreneurial spirit through promotion and demonstrated excellence in the field of community pharmacy ownership for the longevity of the profession. The award is inspired by the NARD name, which was for nearly 100 years, the name associated with independent pharmacy.

The Recipient Receives:

• An engraved plaque
• A travel stipend and complimentary registration for awardee and a guest to the NCPA Annual Convention in the Fall 

Award Criteria

• Current NCPA member
• Owner or previous owner of an independent pharmacy
• Must attend the upcoming NCPA Annual Convention
• Cannot be a child of any current NCPA Foundation Officers, NCPA Officers, NCPA Executive Committee members, NCPA or NCPA Foundation employees.
• Cannot be a current NCPA Foundation Officer, NCPA Officer, NCPA Executive Committee members, NCPA or NCPA Foundation employee.
